Rotary applications impose very different requirements from static sealing. Shaft speed, runout, pressure, lubrication, temperature, fluid and external environment directly influence profile and material selection.

Information needed to identify a rotary seal
Information required to specify the solution:
- shaft diameter;
- housing bore;
- available width;
- fluid / lubricant;
- rotational speed;
- temperature;
- positive or negative pressure;
- installation direction;
- presence of dust, water, mud or other contaminants;
- reference or photograph of the existing seal.
