Standard radial shaft seals
European Sealing Technology supplies the principal radial shaft seal designs used to retain lubricants or protect rotating components from contaminants.
Profiles associated with DIN 3760 include:
- A: elastomer-covered case, without dust lip;
- AS: elastomer-covered case, with dust lip;
- B / BS: designs with a metal case, depending on the profile;
- C / CS: reinforced or special-case designs as defined by the manufacturer.
Freudenberg® / Simrit®
European Sealing Technology regularly supplies Freudenberg®/Simrit® references including:
- BA;
- BASL;
- B1;
- B1SL;
- B2;
- B2SL;
- other profiles from the current range.
CARCO® — large diameters and heavy-duty applications
For specific dimensions or profiles, EST can draw on the CARCO® range of fabric-backed seals for heavy-duty applications such as rolling mills, large bearings and industrial machinery.
Large-diameter solutions are available on request, including selected CARCO® seals and special profiles.
Materials
Depending on the profile and manufacturer, sealing lips are available in various elastomers, including NBR and FKM, as well as other materials suited to the application.
Selection depends on the lubricant, temperature, shaft speed and environment.
Let us review your requirements
Please provide the shaft diameter, housing bore, width, preferred material if known and the fluid. A photograph of the removed seal can help us identify it more quickly.
