Pump and valve packings

European Sealing Technology has a long-standing partnership with the British manufacturer Beldam Crossley® for braided packings.

The range covers several complementary technologies.

Pilotgraph BCL 4000

Graphited packing for a range of stuffing-box applications.

Pilotgraph BCL 4001

Graphited version with reinforcement to the manufacturer’s construction. The range includes versions reinforced with Inconel.

Pilotpack® BCL 3400

PTFE packing for applications compatible with its construction and lubrication.

Pilotpack® BCL 3408

Other PTFE constructions are available according to the service; their characteristics are confirmed against the relevant reference and manufacturer data sheet.

Pilotpack® BCL 5020

Aramid-fibre packing for applications requiring excellent mechanical and abrasion resistance within the manufacturer’s specified conditions.

Pilotpack® BCL 3435

Packing using GFO® technology.

Pilotpack® BCL 5035

Combined GFO® construction with aramid corners, designed to combine low friction with improved mechanical strength, depending on the application.

Most stuffing-box packings are supplied in square cross-section. Depending on the grade, round or rectangular sections may be available on request.

Certain special profiles can also incorporate an O-Ring or a specific construction to suit the application.

In addition to packing coils, EST can supply:

• sets of cut rings;
• die-formed / preformed rings;
• high-purity expanded graphite rings;
• versions with corrosion inhibitor or PTFE impregnation, depending on the product.

Preformed rings reduce installation time and provide more consistent fitting in the stuffing box.
