Manufacture to customer geometry
European Sealing Technology supplies solid metal gaskets in simple or complex shapes, cut from sheet selected for the application.
This family is particularly suitable where the requirement is for:
- an all-metal part;
- a precise thickness;
- a special shape;
- a grade dictated by the fluid or environment;
- one-off or production manufacture.
CNC cutting capabilities allow the range to extend well beyond circular shapes.
Materials supplied
The current range includes:
Soft iron
For general applications where corrosion and temperature conditions permit.
Stainless steels
Including:
- 304;
- 316;
- 321;
- 309;
- other grades to suit the requirement.
Copper
Used in selected applications where its malleability and metallurgical properties are required.
Nickel alloys
On request: Monel, Inconel and other alloys resistant to more severe environments.
Duplex / Super Duplex
For applications requiring higher mechanical strength and/or corrosion resistance, subject to grade and availability.
Thickness and surface finish
Thickness, finish and tolerances are determined by the drawing and the function of the part.
Technical parts beyond gaskets
The same cutting capability can be used to produce shims, washers, flat spacers or metal parts to drawing where these fall within EST’s offering.
